Amy Fowkes – Lead Character 

Amy Fowkes began her career in 1967 when she took to the stage of Lincoln Center’s Philharmonic Hall and danced with Gwen Verdon in celebration of the hall’s fifth anniversary.  It was an honor, indeed.  Many years later, Amy moved from New York City to Portland, Oregon where she built a career as a theatre actress, director and acting teacher. She co-founded Artists Repertory Theatre in 1982 and later went on to join the Board of Artistic Directors of Storefront Theatre. In 1996, Amy ran away to Florence, Italy and began a new life there.  Though Amy spends the majority of her time teaching Italians the joys of the English language she has had the opportunity to return to the stage as both actress and director with Florence International Theatre Company (now The Global Theatre Project, FESTA , and has appeared in the short film, The Fix, produced by  Apple and Olive,  She has had the great privilege of playing the part of Laura in Florence in Love.  It is the first film where Amy has actually had to walk and talk simultaneously.  Amy is in love with Florence and hopes the film with leave you in love with “her” as well.



Sean James Sutton – Supporting Character

Seán James Sutton was born in England in 1961. After college he spent several years travelling the world before settling in Greece where he first made the move into acting by appearing in a number of television commercials and providing voice-overs for various projects. This was followed by a move into cinema and tv and he appeared in a number of Greek films and popular television serials.

In 2010 Seán moved to Switzerland for 12 months where he completed several films and a number of commercial projects. These included a series of videos and television appearances and also an experimental development project for a major animation studio in the US.

Drawn to warmer climes, in mid-2011 Seán moved to Italy where he now lives outside Rome. In his first few months there he has appeared in leading roles in several short movies, including Florence in Love, as well as one Italian language feature length movie currently in production where he plays an Italian-American mob boss. There are several projects in the pipeline and in 2012 Seán will appear in his second Italian language feature length movie as well as continuing to play English speaking characters




Peter Allen Stone - Supporting Character

Peter Allen Stone is a graduate of West Hills College in Coalinga, Ca. and California State University Long Beach.  He is a co-author of the hit play “Unnatural Acts” ( which ran for seven sold-out weeks at the Classic Stage Company in New York City.  New York and Regional Theater: Strangers (Ontological), Proust Series (reading CSC with Michael Stuhlbarg), Much Ado About Nothing (Portland Stage Company), A Christmas Carol, Once in a Lifetime, Female Transport (American Conservatory Theater) Wit, Little Shop of Horrors (Actors Theatre of Louisville), Rebecca Gilman’s Capitalism 101 (25th Humana Festival), Sarah Ruhl’s Virtual Meditation #1 (26th Humana Festival), Barefoot in the Park (ECU Loessin Theater, NC), Site-Seeing (NYC Fringe and DC Capital Fringe), Woyzeck (Riverside Theater), Waiting for Lefty, Ivanov (Schapiro Theater); Television Credits include: One Life to Live, As the World Turns, All My Children, The Guiding Light, and various commercials.  Mr. Stone was a part of the 2000-2001 Acting Apprentice Company at Actors Theatre of Louisville.  Training: MFA American Conservatory Theater.




 Ourania Christina Zoidi

Ourania Christina Zoidi, born on November the 6th, 1988, has completed her high school education at the Anatolia College of Thessaloniki. During these years she participated in many extra curricular activities and workshops in Greece and abroad mostly about music, dance and sports.

She began to study music and violin at the age of 6 at the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki with Professor Ioannis Lappas for Violin and Professor Efrosini Polychronidi for piano.  In 2002 she was admitted at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki where she continued her musical studies (School for Violin) at advanced level under Professor Irene Dragneva.

Ourania Christina was member of the young people string orchestra Trizonakia and Rotonda, -orchestras with a big repertoire, both introduced by Irene Dragneva – and attended twice (2004, 2005),”The International Summer Musical Meetings”, a seminar on violin and chamber music in Zagora on Pelion, also organized by Irene Dragneva.

Ourania Christina studied at the university of Bologna, at the DAMS- (Drama, Art and Music Studies), Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and recently, in November 2011,  she graduated with a Bachelor Degree, Theatre Curriculum. During her studies in Bologna she participated as violinist in the University’s string orchestra.





Gianluca Truppa

Gianluca Truppa was born on 23 November 1966 in Perugia, where he spent most of his childhood. At nine years old, he moved to Florence, which  became his home and transformed him into a “Florentine ” in all respects.
Gianluca began his training as an actor attending various courses in theatre, his great passion, including the School of acting, directed by Maurizia Ronchi,”Il  Genio Della Lampada” in Florence.
In recent years, Gianluca has also dedicated himself to cabaret, using his innate comical talents and sense of humour. More over, he began his career in the world of cinema, participating in featured films and short films, he also appeared on television, participating in advertising, sitcoms and in the TV programme “FORUM” broadcasted on Mediaset.

Gianluca’s latest film was “Florence in Love”, shot in Florence in August 2011. In the field of theater, he is currently responsible for, and founder in 2010, of the Theatre Company “AcquainBocca “ in Florence and is also part of the Company” Off Musical” of Scandicci.
